Damian serves as a Director of Great Pacific, Accredit Mortgage Ltd., and First Accredit Mortgage Corp. He is an active member of the Rotary Club of Victoria, Harbourside and serves as the President of the Harbourside Rotary Foundation.

Duncan enjoys helping first time home buyers navigate the home buying process and takes satisfaction in educating them in the intricacies of becoming homeowners. From setting up a budget to save for a down payment to creating a plan to pay off debt prior to making an offer, the process of becoming a homeowner can be a lengthy one but is well worth it when those clients finally move into their first home. Duncan also works with homeowners looking to utilize their equity for home renovations, purchasing investment properties, upgrading their principal residence, or even taking advantage of low mortgage interest rates so that they can invest their equity and maximize their TFSA and RRSP contributions.
Duncan also assists other mortgage brokers throughout British Columbia in more complex files, by finding alternative mortgage solutions and using creative underwriting to help their clients find the funding they need.
When not in the office, Duncan enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and 18-month-old son, exploring all that Vancouver Island has to offer.

Alexis Corner
Born on Vancouver Island, Alexis started her career at Great Pacific in July, 2019 as an Administrative Assistant. She went on to complete the Exempt Market Proficiency course from the IFSE Institute in May of 2023, and is now registered as a Dealing Representative for Great Pacific. After Donna Smith’s retirement, she was promoted to Office Manager. When not at work she can be found doing yoga, hiking with friends, or travelling to far away destinations.

Gwen joined Great Pacific as a part time Administrative Assistant in 2025. Her background is in Customer Service and Quality Control, and she has enjoyed expanding her skills and knowledge at GPMI. She holds a degree in Classical Voice Performance and when not at work she is busy performing around town as a singer and multi- instrumentalist.
Demian Monroy

Demian Monroy
Demian Monroy contributes more than 25 years of expertise in real estate investment, development, and equity financing to the Great Pacific team. A long-time Victoria resident and graduate of St. Michaels University School (SMUS), Demian has deep local roots and a personal commitment to the Vancouver Island community.
Throughout his career, he has served as Managing Partner of Magma & Co, a vertically integrated firm specializing in high-value property acquisition and development across North America. His extensive work in British Columbia includes leading Agave Capital, where he focused on providing equity financing for residential and commercial real estate projects within the province. In addition to his development expertise, Demian has been a partner and active board member for several leading real estate and mortgage technology platforms in Latin America.
His professional background is supported by a rigorous academic foundation, including a BA in Economics from Vassar College, an MA in Real Estate Development from New York University (NYU), and an MA in Construction Administration from the Universidad Panamericana. He is also a graduate of the AD-2 and AdeCap programs of the IPADE business school.
Now serving as V.P. Investor Relations and Dealing Representative at Great Pacific, Demian is dedicated to fostering transparent, professional relationships with our shareholders. He lives in Victoria with his wife and two children and is an avid traveler with a passion for history and gastronomy.
